Hi everybody!

I’m Carlotta, but everybody calls me Carly. I am Italian, with a thing for traveling and making.

I am passionate about all yarns and fibers and  I used to spend most of my free time knitting (until I bought a sewing machine). I don’t remember the first time I took a pair of needles up, but since then a lot of water has past under the bridge and I am proud to say that I have learned many new techniques, improving my knitting with every project. I have more yarn than what I probably need, but I can’t resist trying new brands, fibers and colors. I just love them all!

A few years ago I felt the need of trying something new, so I bought a sewing machine – well, two: a sewing machine and a serger – and with the help of some books and the internet, I thought myself how to sew. Needless to say, I have already become a patterns and fabrics collector. I really enjoy sewing, it really is a very satisfying hobby and it is amazing how many beautiful garments you can make with just a piece of cloth.
